Epic beats competition in new KLAS report ranking Top IT companies for healthcare

Electronic Health Records (EHR) company Epic landed first place for the twelfth year in a row as having the best overall software suite, according to a new report ranking health IT companies. The 2022 Best in KLAS report, published by KLAS showed that Epic beat out competitors Allscripts, Cerner, CPSI, and Meditech, according to the KLAS report. The overall software award looked at vendors that offered a comprehensive IT system for both a clinical and financials. Epic outperformed competitions in terms of acute care EMR, cardiology, and patient portals, among others.
