About the Role

As a Technical Writer at Censinet, you will develop clear, engaging content that helps healthcare organizations get the most from our risk management platform. You will create a range of customer-facing materials including help articles, FAQs, tutorials, in-product news and guidance, and short instructional videos designed to make complex workflows simple and actionable.

You will work closely with product management, engineering, customer success, and marketing to ensure that every piece of content supports product adoption and understanding. The ideal candidate enjoys exploring new software, learning how features work firsthand, and translating that knowledge into content that helps customers succeed.

This role is best suited for someone with 3–5 years of experience in content or technical writing who is comfortable using AI tools to accelerate work, improve quality, and iterate effectively.

Responsibilities

Content Development

  • Write, edit, and publish help articles, FAQs, tutorials, and in-product news items.

  • In-product guidance, such as tooltips and self-guided product tours.

  • Create short tutorial videos and screen recordings to explain product features and workflows.

  • Use AI tools to accelerate content creation, refine drafts, and maintain consistent quality.

Product Familiarity and Collaboration

  • Learn the Censinet platform in depth by exploring how it works through hands-on use.

  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customer success teams to understand new features and user needs.

  • Partner with marketing and design to ensure tone, structure, and style align with company standards.

  • Incorporate customer and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve content clarity and usefulness.

Content Management

  • Ensure up to date content ships with product releases.

  • Organize and maintain the knowledge base for clarity and accessibility.

  • Contribute to content planning and publishing processes to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in technical writing, content creation, or related roles.

  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a focus on clarity and usability.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex software and explain it in straightforward, user-focused language.

  • Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity and output quality.

  • Ability to create and edit short videos and screen recordings.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Technical Writing, or a related field preferred.

  • Knowledge of healthcare, SaaS, risk management workflows, and Intercom is a plus.
